Professional drivers: chauffeurs who own a commercial driving license (in Italy NCC) have full knowledge of the routes, basic English, and basic knowledge of the areas that are crossed during the trip.
Driver-guides are professional chauffeurs fully licensed for the commercial transportation of people, they are reliable, informative and entertaining. He/she has a good knowledge of the areas and the whole country, during the trip provides relevant information about the history, the culture, the spirit of the region and relative sights. During the tour he/she drives guests as close as possible to each town center, if timing and conditions permit parking the vehicle, he/she escorts guests for a sightseeing walk. Otherwise he/she provides maps, timetables (if necessary) and information for making guests enjoy the area at their own pace.
Qualified tours guides: by the law, are the only subjects allowed to take people around the towns, enter in museum, churches, palaces and explain them to visitors.
The license is released after being tested on several topics like art history, archeology, economy and society, customs and traditions about the province for which they obtained the license.
What is included
Taxes, VAT, and when you benefit from transportation service, even parking, tolls, fuel.
What is not included
Eventual ferry and train tickets, eventual entrance tickets, meals, wine and food tastings, tips (optional).
Booking conditions
After receiving the quotation of the tour, complete your booking by choosing your favorite payment option below in the document.
All reservations are subject to our confirmation, the service is considered CONFIRMED when you receive from us the CONFIRMATION VOUCHER.
The itinerary can be changed due to force majeure events like strikes, floods, severe water acts, in general events that cannot reasonably predictable.
Vehicles available:
A/C minivan for groups up to 8 people
For larger groups, other types of vehicles will be agreed.
Insurance coverage
While traveling on board of one of our vehicles, every passenger is covered by an insurance policy, which in Italy is mandatory. In Italy, vehicles used for professional transport of people (NCC) are inspected every 12 months by the car register.
We warmly advise to take out insurance to cover eventual medical expenses or loss of luggage.
Photographic and video rights
In further consideration for participating in the trip, Travellers agree that CTTours, or their designate, may use any photographic or film records of the trips for promotional and/or commercial purposes, without any remuneration to the Traveler.
The Traveler agrees to assign all right, title and interest they may have in or to any media in which their name or likeness might be used to CTTours.
Privacy policy
Cinque Terre Tour informs you, that all data collected from clients by filling out the forms above are protected in conformity to the Italian Law 196/2003 concerning the protection of the personal data. According to the mentioned law, Cinque Terre Tour is liable of the safe keeping of client’s data in the person of his owner Umberto Cattani Viale xx Settembre 292, 54033 Carrara – Italy.
Payment conditions
Since the majority of our services are fully customized, rates are displayed only for basic tour guide services. Please fill the form in STEP-3 section for receiving your tailored itinerary and quotation.
Note that taxes, fuel, tolls, parking are always included in our rates.
Each extra hour beyond the fixed time will be charged at the rate of € 50,00/hour (day time) and € 70,00/hour (night time) for drivers and of € 40,00 for tourist guides services.
Travel agencies are kindly required to pay fully in advance.
Payment methods
Pay entirely in advance with bank transfer (a commission could be charged) – With Paypal (a 5% commission will be charged).
Pay a deposit to secure your booking and balance by cash in Euro. In case you balance by credit card (5% commission will be charged) at the end of the excursion.
By paying the deposit you expressively accept the following cancellation policy.
Send your credit card data just as warranty, nothing will be charged on your card. Then balance at the end of the excursion/tour guide service by cash in Euro. In case you balance by credit card (5% commission will be charged).

Cancellation and refund policy
The eventual cancellation has to be communicated by email and accepted by this company in the same way.
arrived until 7 days before the booked service, nothing will be charged. In case of pre-payment full refund of money to the client.
arrived from 6 until 3 days before the booked service, 50% of the amount will be charged. In case of pre-payment 50% refund of money to the client.
arrived 1 or 2 days before the booked service, or “no show” 100% of the amount will be charged. In case of pre-payment, nothing will be returned to the client.
In case of force majeure events like death, floods, or the ship doesn’t dock in the fixed port, the client will not be charged or fully refunded
Notes
Pre-reserved tickets are not refundable.
Our rain policy: Cinque Terre Tour may cancel a service in case of extremely serious weather events like floods, rainstorms, tornadoes, sea storms. If there is no possibility to switch the date, nothing will be charged.
